End of the Year, End of an Era
Pin It Now!
I finally made a decision about what to do next year. With the support of my district, I took an extended leave for this school year to be with our daughter who was born last June. I've been wrestling with this decision since the minute I walked out of school last June. It would be possible to argue every side of this decision for the next 10 months, too, but I just needed to choose. After much prayer, discussion, and thought, I have decided not to go back next year. Instead, I'm taking a break from classroom teaching to spend precious time with a precious baby girl. It's bittersweet to be sure. Teaching is the most challenging and fulfilling thing I've ever done. I've decided to find other ways to aspire to inspire (while the baby is napping) in the mean time. This blog is one of those ways. We'll see what happens....
